Michelle has been drawing and making art since she was very little. At five she asked her mom if she could go to art school instead of regular school, and while she couldn't then, eventually she did get to go. Michelle graduated from Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) with a BFA in Illustration. In 2011 she started her business as a freelance illustrator. Since then she has worked with incredible clients on amazing projects, and could not feel happier. Every day is unique and every day involves illustrating.
Michelle loves to create playful characters and scenes. Her illustrations combine fashion, beautiful colors, gestural lines, and whimsical details. She is always looking for ways to add interesting and humorous elements to her designs. The details slowly reveal themselves so you will notice something new or unique no matter how many times you look at an illustration.
Michelle prides herself on her work ethic as well as her artistic ability. She knows a clients goals, schedule, and opinions are extremely important. Her goal is that every project is delivered exceeding her clients expectations and leaves them with a work of art they are thrilled with.
Recent clients Michelle has worked with include; American Girl, Better After 50,
Chaps Ralph Lauren, Frankie Rose Cosmetics, PEOPLE, Random House,
Town and Country, ViVi G. Shoes, Vogue Japan, and Where's Karl?!
